As part of our curriculum promotion, Scoil Maelruain Junior organises various 'Themed Weeks'. Each class level will have a focus on one Themed Week, and every pupil will have the opportunity to participate in each Themed Week at least once during their time at the school. Our Themed Weeks are:

• Maths Week - October - Senior Infants
• STEM Week - November - 2nd Classes
• Literacy Week - March - Junior Infants (World Book Day dress up for all students)
• Seachtain na Gaeilge - Márta - Rang a haon
• Wellbeing Week - April - All Students
• Active Week - June - All Students
