A big welcome back and Happy New Year to all our junior infants and parents. The junior infants have been busy since returning from the Christmas break.
We have been looking at all things about Homes/Sa Bhaile across all subject areas. Reading stories such as The Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have been learning our letter sounds SATPIN and C/K. We went for a nature walk and collected materials & built homes in Art using different types of materials and textures. In maths we have been singing our songs 10 monkeys jumping on the bed & 10 teddies in a bed.
In PE we have been practicing our balancing and rocking and rolling as part of Gymnastics.
It’s been a really fun filled start back to the new year.
