During December and January, our class explored the theme of winter and weather. The children learned about different weather conditions and discussed how winter weather can change from day to day. We regularly checked the weather forecast on the Met Éireann website to see what the weather would be like in Ireland.
We also talked about cold weather warnings, what they mean, and how people can stay safe during very cold conditions such as frost, ice, and snow.
The children helped choose and design our snowman door display to represent the winter season. This display helped the children connect seasonal changes, weather observations, and creative art, making our classroom door both educational and festive. ❄️⛄
