✂️ Fine Motor Thursday – Christmas Play-Doh Creations 🖐️🎄

This week, we focused on developing fine motor skills, which are essential for handwriting, pencil control, cutting, and many everyday tasks. The children used Play-Doh to practise actions such as pinching, rolling, squeezing, cutting, pressing, and shaping, all of which help strengthen the muscles in the hands and fingers.
The children created a variety of models, including:
-
⭐ Christmas trees and decorations
-
🎁 Shapes using cutters
-
🐦 Animals, people, and imaginative sculptures
-
❤️ Hearts, stars, airplanes, butterflies, and more
They enjoyed experimenting with different tools and techniques, using both hands together to shape and build their creations.
Play-Doh activities are a wonderful way to support fine motor development, hand strength, coordination, and creativity, while also making learning fun and engaging. 🌟
