Our 1916 commemorations continued with the raising of our National Flag and singing of the National Anthem with accompaniment by Mrs. White on the trumpet.   Click here 1916  

We had an assembly to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1916 rising. Each class presented a project on different aspects of Ireland. The second classes wrote our own proclamation. Look at all the bridges we made!            

Reminder:   The school will be closed on Friday February 26th as the school will be used as a polling station for the general election.

We worked together to make houses from 3-D shapes! The shapes we are learning about are: cubes, cuboids, spheres and cylinders. Click here to see some photographs room 13  

We made Chinese dragons to celebrate Chinese New Year using recycled materials. The children brought recycled materials to school such as boxes, boxes and tubes. They spent a lot of time designing and creating their dragons and were very proud of their creations!
